NCCCO Presents in Africa, India, and Singapore

April 2019—International interest in NCCCO certification and NCCCO’s role in effective regulatory change continues to build. Following presentations in December in Mozambique at the invitation of ANSI/USAID, and in India where NCCCO exhibited at baumaCONEXPO before meeting with India’s Ministry of Construction, NCCCO’s CEO, Graham Brent, was the keynote speaker at the Workplace Safety and Health Crane Symposium held January 25 in Singapore under the auspices of that country’s Ministry of Manpower.

Brent’s keynote presentation titled Credentialing in Construction: What Have 20 Years of Crane Operator Certification Taught Us? (below) focused on the impact of independently accredited, third-party certification on crane operations. He cited 11 major “lessons learned” over two decades of NCCCO’s development and administration of ANSI-accredited certification programs to crane operators and others engaged in lifting operations.
