March 2015—Attendees of this year's World of Concrete (Las Vegas, February 3-6) were able to view demonstrations of articulating and mobile crane operation at the show's Gold Lot. Hundreds stopped by the outdoor area to watch the cranes in action, and dozens of visitors were provided an opportunity to operate an articulating boom crane through a representation of the CCO practical exam course. Personnel from Overton Safety Training were on hand to answer crane safety-related questions and to supervise the operation of the equipment by show attendees, while NCCCO staff answered questions on testing, certification, and the status of operator certification requirements throughout the country.
